What is Vacation Bible school  (VBS) ???

Well...
It is a time in the summer to reach out to our community and share Jesus' love with all of His children.
You see God never takes a vacation and that is great news for us!

VBS gives us a time to bring the Bible to life. The Bible is not a bunch of made up stories, but is comprised of real times and places with real events that did happen.

During VBS week we can tell all childen how precious they are to God and how much He loves them. We share with them how God always kept His promise to His people. It is a time  when we can teach children to pray...which is talking to God.
You see, God loves to hear from  us and He has so much to share with us.

VBS shares with the children how important it is to read the Bible because it is God's instruction for our lives and it allows us to have a daily walk with Him.

VBS is also a time when we reach out to our community with missions for our local food pantry.
In past years we have raised money for hurricane victims, made prayer blankets for other countries and prayer bears that went to children in orphanges in Africa.
This year we are buying school supplies for kids in foster care and also donating to  our outreach fund which in turn helps the community.

During VBS we continue to show Jesus' love with the many things we do within our community. We share  His love with other children outside of our community, and  even around our world.

VBS is free for all and all are welcome to attend...
